Travel to Barbary Lane, Hossegor

156 Avenue de la Cote d'Argent, 40150 Hossegor
00 33 (0)5 58 43 52 19

By air:

To/From Biarritz: Airport transfers from Biarritz Airport are included in the cost of the holiday, running at specific times depending on your trip. Transfer days are typically tiring, so we aim to reduce the hassle involved in your travel, allowing you to start your holiday in as relaxed a fashion as possible.

Some trip notes provide you with an exact transfer time.  For others, transfer times will be arranged to tie in with the main group flight, usually the most sensible flight of the day. We will confirm these details with you by email during the booking process.  If this flight is late arriving, then the transfer will be delayed accordingly.

If you miss your flight or choose to fly after the arranged meeting time, you will be unable to join the group transfer and you will be responsible for catching up with the group. Unfortunately, if you do not use the transfer for any reason, there is no refund available.

In some cases it may be possible to arrange a transfer from a hotel in Biarritz as an alternative to the airport transfer, if you are already in the area.

By road

As this is a point to point trip, it is not likely to be feasible to drive unless you are happy to get public transport back from Narbonne to Hossegor at the end of the trip (over 330 miles away).

If needed however, some minimal parking is available in road parking bays opposite the hotel.

From the North Head towards Biarritz on the N10 from Bordeaux. Leave the N10 at junction 9 (A63), signposted Bayonne and Biarritz.  After approximately 15km, leave the A63 at junction 8, signposted Capbreton  and Hossegor. Take the second major right into the Boulevard des Cigales, which will take you through the centre of Capbreton and up into Hossegur (following signs for Centre Ville).  After crossing the river (le Bourret), take the first left and then first right (into the Avenue de Touring), then the second left which will take you into the Avenue Paul Lahary and across the canal.  Take the first right turn after crossing the bridge, then the first left into Avenue de la Cote d'Argent.  The Hotel Barbary Lane is on your right after 50m or so.    Note that all hotels are signposted from the centre of Hossegor, in case you get lost.

From the South: Head West on the A64 from Pau/Tarbes, towards Bayonne and Biarritz.  You will joint the A63/N10 where you need to head North, towards Dax.   Come off the A63 at junction 8 signposted Capbreton and Hossegur.

By Rail and Bus:

from Paris: It is possible to catch a train from Paris Montparnasse station to Bordeaux St Jean, and then change here for Biarritz.  The journey to Biarritz takes approx 6 hours, with trains leaving Paris approx every 2 hours to Bordeaux. There are also stations at Bayonne at Dax, which have alternative services from Bordeaux.  See www.sncf.com for up to date timetables.

It is necessary to catch a bus (un car) or Taxi from the stations mentioned to Hossegor Town Centre as there is no station in Capbreton or Hossegor.
