Peak bagging in the Pyrenees - sold out!
If you are still umming and erring about coming out on my center based peak bagging holiday this year then I am afraid you are too late. Atlantic to Mediterranean - New departure added.
Last month I put on a further departure of this popular cycling trip and there are already only two places left. The tour is about nice scenery, vineyards, historic towns, canals, and a bit of cycling. It is not too strenuous and can be enjoyed anyone who like riding a bike. Autumn Colours - A new walking tour starting this October.
This year I teamed up with a local botanist and butterfly expert for my gentle walking holiday looking at the vibrant spring flowers. The holiday was a big success, so I am carrying on the theme and running a similar holiday with the emphasis on mushrooms and the stunning autumn colours. MTB weekend in October?
There is only one mountain biking trip with any places left this autumn. It is from Friday 13th to Monday 16th October. This is a perfect time for a bit of pre winter fun in the sun. More info: http://www.marmot-tours.co.uk/summaries/mfw.htm

New Flights from Bristol, Nottingham - East Midlands and Liverpool.
Every year more and more Brits are discovering the joys of the Pyrenees and thankfully the airlines are responding to the demand. Easy Jet start a new route from Bristol to Toulouse at the end of July and Ryan Air have transformed Carcassonne into a relatively busy airport with new flights from Nottingham and Liverpool in addition to their existing Stansted and Dublin flights. Carcassonne is a very interesting fortified city and well worth tagging on a day or two onto your activity holiday. It is very easy to get from Carcassonne to Toulouse.

BA winter flights available - return flights less than £100.
British Airways have just released their winter flight timetable. I know it is a long way away, but this makes it a great time to think about booking your winter holiday. Currently all Sunday flights can be picked up for £100 return including all taxes. All my cross-country skiing and Snowshoeing holidays are very suitable for people who want the odd day of downhill skiing

How about getting a group together for a skiing holiday over the New Year?
Every year I get approached by a few people wanting to get a group of friends together for a mix of downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding and snowshoeing. Unfortunately it is normally in November when the flights cost more than my holiday! So if this is your idea of the perfect start to the year (and it should be) then please please please do not delay and make the most of the good flight deals.
