I hope that you are having a fantastic winter.
So far the response to Marmot-tours has been
excellent and several of the biking weekends and peak bagging
trips are almost full…. Please don't leave your holiday arrangements
until the last minute or else you may be disappointed!!
Anyway, I have included below a few things
that may interest you:
Snowshoeing / Downhill Skiing Combination
Trip in March.
I have had several requests from people who want a more flexible
winter holiday - they enjoy downhill skiing but their partner
does not (a common situation). I think that I have come up
with the perfect solution - A week of snowshoeing or downhill
skiing with the option of a day of x-country skiing.
Ax-Les-Thermes is the perfect base for both
downhill skiing and snowshoeing. There is cable car leaving
Ax, which goes up to the large and interesting ski resort
of Ax-Bonascre. There is more than enough skiing here to keep
you amused for a week. However, we will make the most of the
minibus and visit some other smaller, prettier resorts as
well as a day in Andorra. This ties in perfectly with the
snowshoeing as we drive on a bit further and enjoy a peaceful
walk with stunning mountain views. At the end of the day we
meet back together for a bit of "après activity"
and it is the perfect winter holiday.
The trip is from the 20th to 27th of March
and costs £425. Flights in March are still very cheap.
All the details are the same as for the snowshoeing trip except
I will refund you 20 Euros per day that you do not come snowshoeing

ITV Holiday Showdown
ITV are doing a second series of this Holiday Competition
program. They are looking for lively and outgoing families
who are proud and passionate about their holidays. They have
contacted me to see if I can find anyone who would be interested
in using one of my tours as 'Their Ideal Holiday'. It could
be interesting, you would get a free holiday and I would get
some publicity - Please contact me if you want any more info.

of photos from past clients.
I want to include a photo gallery on my website with photos
from people who have been on my trips in the past. It does
not matter which country. If you have any suitable snaps then

If you can get 7 or more friends together for a trip then
I will give you a free place, or all the members in your group
