Marmot Tours is run by James and
Cathy Thompson, and we are pleased to offer you a quality service
at a reasonable price.
We have a very small and dedicated
Marmot Tours Team of
5
leaders, including ourselves and so know exactly
how each of our trips runs, ensuring that you
have a safe and enjoyable holiday. James
is an experienced cyclist with his SMBLA Trail Cycle Leader
Award, he is an IML and a SSE XC
ski instructor and so has both the qualifications and
experience to make sure that you get the most out of your
trip. Cathy is your office
link, plus is a qualified
massage therapist (BTEC and ITEC in Swedish massage) and after James has tired you out, can
help your muscles recover! Some of you already know Alan
Toogood, all round sportsman, IML and mountain
biking guide, plus we have been joined by Nathan
Hall and Terry Spamer this year, both of whom have
enthusiasm, experience and professionalism to
offer us. For

Cottage available for rent, should you want to
explore the area independently. Cherry
Cottage sleeps 4 and is perfectly situated for you to
have your own activity holiday!
Many of our holidays are based in the beautiful
Ariege, our local area
of the French Pyrenees. The landscape is perfect for a
multitude of activities, and the mountain views are
breathtaking. Less touristy than its fellow mountain
region of the Alps, the Ariege allows for peace,
tranquillity
and escapism.
Marmot Tours is a strong believer of
