1) Click the ENQUIRE NOW button from the webpage of the holiday you’re interested in (you can mention several tours in this form if you wish), or email [email protected] to check availability for your preferred departure date. Please let us know at this stage if you’d like to check the availability of single rooms and bike hire too. We will then pencil you in with a provisional booking for a few days whilst you get planning (flights and so on). You can reserve places for others too if you are holidaying as a group – just let us know their names and email addresses.

2) When you are ready to confirm your booking, login to The Link (if you are new to Marmot Tours, please create an account in The Link), then click the BOOK A HOLIDAY button and fill out the form. If you have reserved places for others too, you can also invite them to book via The Link in the WHO’S DOING WHAT section.

3) Your deposit invoice will appear on The Link within minutes of booking. Single rooms and/or bike hire costs will be added to your final invoice once we have confirmed the availability of these. Any discounts you qualify for will automatically be applied to your invoice.

4) Arrange payment of your £400 non-refundable deposit in The Link via the online credit card payment facility (in the MONEY & INVOICES section) or via BACS bank transfer.

For BACS payments, please use your invoice number as a reference and make payment to the following account:

Account Name: Marmot Tours Ltd
Bank: Barclays
Sort code: 20-50-40
Account: 83838315
IBAN: GB57 BARC 2050 4083 8383 15
SWIFT/BIC: BARCGB22

5) After you’ve received your holiday confirmation from us, check to see if our transfer details have been released. If they have, you can go ahead and book your flights/arrange your travel. It’s important to check the up-to-date airport transfer times on The Link before booking your flights. For the latest travel advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office including security and local laws, plus passport and visa information, check www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.’’

6) When you’ve booked your flights, please add your details to the TRAVEL & TRANSFERS section of The Link or email us so we can add these details for you.

7) Purchase your compulsory insurance cover (to include cycle touring, medical costs and repatriation) and add the policy details to the BEFORE YOU GO section of The Link. It is important that you arrange your travel insurance at the time of booking, so that you have cover in case of cancellation due to injury during your training (unfortunately it happens more often than you think!)

8) We’ll remind you to pay your balance 12 weeks before your departure date.

9) We’ll let you know who your guides are a couple of weeks before your holiday and contact you the week before with final joining information. You can contact us at any time with questions you may have.

10) Turn up and have the cycling holiday of a lifetime!
