This mountain refuge based walking / trekking holiday in the Eastern
Pyrenees is an excellent way to explore the Pyreneen mountains. The
Eastern Pyrenees near Andorra is one of the wildest places in Europe
- a perfect place for your adventurous walking holiday. During this
weeklong holiday in the Pyrenees we stay in two mountain refuges and
a couple of gite D'etapes. This means we can go on fairly tough day
walks / treks along ridges and to mountain peaks without the burden
of our backpacks. The backpacking days are fairly short. The Mountain
huts used are comfortable. During the week we will walk on part of
the GR10, GR11 or HRP. This Pyrenean walking holiday is lead by James
Thompson, an International Mountain Leader. All Pyrenees walking holidays
are available in July and August.
