This centre based peak bagging walking / trekking holiday in the Eastern Pyrenees is an excellent way to explore the Pyreneen mountains. The Eastern Pyrenees near Andorra is one of Europe true wildernesses - a perfect place for your walking holiday. The fact that the region doesn't have the highest peak, or the biggest waterfall means it has remained wild. During this walking holiday we are unlikely to come across many other walkers, hikers or trekkers. During this weeklong holiday in the Pyrenees we stay in a mountain chalet and go on fairly tough day walks / treks along ridges and to mountain peaks. This trekking holiday is possible due to the road network, making hundreds of trekking peaks accessible from the roadside. During the week we will walk on part of the GR10, GR11 or HRP. This Pyrenean walking holiday is lead by James Thompson, an International Mountain Leader. All Pyrenees walking holidays are available in July and August.
